WELCOME TO NOXĒ SKIN & BODY ☾
At NOXĒ Skin & Body, we honour the sacred energy of night — the time when the body restores, the mind softens, and healing unfolds quietly beneath the surface.
Derived from the Latin word nox, meaning “night,” NOXĒ (pronounced Knox) represents the power of stillness. It is in these quiet moments that the nervous system settles, inflammation eases, and the body returns to balance. The added Ē softens the strength of the name, symbolizing the gentle, nurturing energy that transforms restoration into sanctuary.
Our treatments go beyond surface-level beauty. Each experience is intentionally designed to calm, support, and reconnect by creating space for your body to exhale and your spirit to feel safe.
Here, beauty is not forced. It is revealed through rest.
NOXĒ is a sanctuary for the overstimulated and overtired. A space where strength meets softness, and stillness becomes medicine.
At NOXĒ, you don’t come to be changed. You come to return to yourself.
At NOXĒ Skin & Body, we believe care should be more than a checkbox.
Routine is rushed. Routine is automatic. Routine is something you squeeze in between everything else.
Ritual is different.
Ritual is intentional. Ritual is grounding. Ritual is the moment you finally exhale.
Our treatments are not quick maintenance appointments.
They are immersive, touch-led experiences designed to support your skin barrier, calm your nervous system, and reconnect you to your body. From massage-infused facials to intentionally performed dry pedicures, every detail is delivered with presence.
This is not “in and out.” This is where time softens. This is where your body slows. This is where care becomes intentional.
Many of the women who walk through our doors are carrying full schedules and overstimulated minds. Inside NOXĒ, we choose something different.
We choose depth over surface. We choose presence over pressure. We choose experience over transaction. Because skincare should not feel clinical or cold. And self-care should never feel rushed.
Ritual Over Routine is our philosophy.
It’s how we treat your skin. It’s how we hold space. It’s how we believe care should be given.
This isn’t just an appointment. It’s a reset.
RITUAL OVER ROUTINE.
OUR TEAM
ALAURA WOOD
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)With over a decade of experience in massage therapy, Alaura brings a thoughtful balance of clinical expertise and restorative care to every treatment. Her approach blends therapeutic techniques with slow, intentional work designed to support both physical relief and nervous system regulation.
With additional training in myofascial release and lymphatic drainage, and seven years of experience teaching in the massage therapy field, her work is grounded in a strong foundation of anatomy and movement. Each session is guided by the needs of the body rather than a fixed routine, allowing space for meaningful and lasting change.
Alaura believes massage therapy is not about fixing people, but about supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance. Clients often leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and more at ease than when they arrived.
Her work offers an elevated experience that combines the calm of a luxury spa with clinically informed care.
MELISSA VERDE
Clinical AestheticianWith over ten years in the clinical aesthetics industry, Melissa has built her career at the intersection of science and ritual. After earning her certification in aesthetics and clinical skincare from The Esthetic Institute in Calgary, Alberta, she went on to specialize in brows and lashes, developing a reputation for detail, precision, and artistry.
Her journey has taken her through diverse studio spaces and cities, allowing her to gather perspective, refine technique, and cultivate a deeply intuitive approach to treatment. While rooted in clinical training, Melissa has spent the last five years immersing herself in holistic facial practices including sculptural facial massage, gua sha, facial cupping, and the integration of clean, consciously formulated products.
Her work is guided by the belief that skin is not separate from the body or spirit. Each treatment is designed to restore balance, support long-term skin health, and create a moment of intentional pause.
For Melissa, this career has never just been about beauty. It is about presence, touch, and transformation.
